Founded in 1986, Simchat Yisrael is a diverse and welcoming messianic jewish congregation serving greater New Haven and beyond. We embody a joyful commitment to Jewish life renewed in Yeshua, and a shared vision as:

• A LEARNING COMMUNITY – A deep commitment to spiritual growth and discipleship through the study of Scripture and Jewish texts.  

• A DAVENING COMMUNITY – Encouraging a traditionally-rooted experience of Jewish liturgical prayer that is contemporary, meaningful, and empowered by the Spirit.

• A SOCIALLY ENGAGED COMMUNITY – A mature and healthy spirituality is built upon loving God and one another, and we must engage locally and globally to serve others with acts of loving-kindness.
